A Week in Farm Photos Jan 20 - 26th

This week we got our second snow 'storm' of the winter! Being displaced New England Yankees living in Virginia, we get what some might call abnormally excited when it snows here.  This time it actually stuck to the ground AND lasted all day and into the next day. It only amounted to about two inches, but we'll take what we can get.  Side note: the animals were slightly less excited than we were, except for the ducks who love all kinds of weather and are always happy about everything!

  2. It rained all day today here in Arizona. It is much needed. At least it isn't like the summer storms where there is running water everywhere. I don't envy you in feeding the animals in the cold. Been there, done that, don't wanna do that again. Have a great rest of the weekend and a super week. Thanks for sharing.

  7. Beatuiful pictures, Lisa, and I especially love your header....

I will admit that the allure of snow is quickly turning into "when is it going away" here....

But your images make me remember the days when it was still wonderful.

    1. Thank you Jen ! I am sure you're tired of snow up there, but down here, we just get SO excited because its so much prettier than mud.

I love your new venture - I think you've found your blog's calling and I'll be sure to join up next week.

  8. I think I will choose to be a duck! Great attitudes. Easy for me to say because we don't have snow at our home, only at our cabin. Looks like you have a lot of work on your hands but those pretty eggs are quite a payoff.
