A Week in Farm Photos March 10th - 16th

The warm sunny days are still giving way to chilly nights here in Virginia, but spring is in full force.  Always my favorite time of year, now that we live in the country spring always includes baby chicks, ducklings or both. This year will be both with ducklings hatching in about ten days and then chicks the following month...thanks for stopping by to take a peek into this past week on the farm.

    1. Why the future! Do it now! I hadn't picked up my knitting needles for more than a year and just finally made the time.

  2. I need to find a little basket like that to put greens in. I wonder if a suet holder would work?

    1. Sure it would. I also found a metal shower caddy that I put greens in. It hangs right on the side of the run fencing.

  5. Beautiful photos as always! We had a few gorgeous days here, now we have sleet :(. Uggh! But I have baby chicks in a brooder in the kids' bathroom, so it's nice and warm in there and the little peeps always make it feel like spring :). My kids are teens, so no danger to the chicks with them going in and out.
