First I steamed and peeled some eggs. Then while they were still warm, I wedged each egg into a v-shaped piece of sturdy cardboard with a chopstick positioned on top and held in place with rubber bands. Once the eggs cooled, I sliced them and they resembled little hearts. Very easy and very cute.

First thought looking at the pictures: HOW did you manage to hard boil eggs in heart shapes??? I've never had steamed eggs before, do they taste any different than hard boiled ones?
ReplyDeleteThey taste exactly the same steamed but they just peel SO much easier. if you hover over the word 'steamed' the link to how to do it is linked up.
