A Week in Farm Photos - March 1st to 7th

This past week was a weather roller coaster for us here in Virginia, and for much of the country in fact. We saw snow, freezing rain, temperatures near 70 degrees, and everything in between. The slightly longer days have resulted in a plethora of eggs in our nesting boxes. Enjoy!

-no we don't have any quail, but these eggs a friend sent me were to pretty not to photograph!-

I would love for you to join me here...

  1. Jealous. Out of our five girls only one is now laying. The rest are past their prime. I expect we may get a few eggs from them but not many.

  2. Oh, I have one girl who is six years old and manages a few eggs a month! The rest are all pretty much new layers.
