Welcome to my Farm - Spring Clean Up

I don't want to jinx things, but it looks like we're done with snow for this year! Yay!

After last week's snow storm, the temperatures warmed right up and with some nice sunshine coupled with a few days of rain, the grass is starting to grow and turn green, shrubs and trees are budding, and we've got daffodils, tulips, lilies and irises starting to come up!

In between rain showers, we managed to spend some time outside and get some spring clean-up started.  We emptied the garage at bit of some no-longer-needed junk the chickens and ducks had the opportunity to stretch their legs and free range a bit, and some much-needed home improvements were made.

I also took a quick inventory to make sure we have everything we need for the baby chicks and ducklings that will be arriving later this month. I can't wait!

But even more exciting is that we've officially hung up our snow shovels, put away hats and mittens, and swapped out our warm winter boots for colorful rubber versions!
